Sarah Desmond is a vocational trainee dentist and a recent graduate from Glasgow University who has returned to the Highlands to further her career in dentistry.
A Highlander at heart, Sarah’s love for the outdoors has drawn her back from the city. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, whether in the calm of a pool or the open waters of the ocean. She finds both relaxation and excitement in this hobby.
Sarah’s approach to patient care is shaped by compassion, empathy, honesty, integrity, teamwork, and her commitment to lifelong learning. She believes in treating individuals with respect and always aims to provide a positive and supportive experience for those in her care.
Her passion for dentistry began after breaking her front teeth, which gave her a personal understanding of the importance of patient-centred care and the impact of a confident smile. Sarah finds great fulfilment in her work, particularly in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and supporting them on their journey towards improved oral health and self-confidence.
